The mind is a connection of feelings, ideas, and memories. When you’re angry, your mind will bring up memories and ideas associated with anger.

Similarly, when you feel good, your mind will put positive memories and ideas in the front of your consciousness. Effectively, this means that the easiest way to feel good – is simply to feel good!

Well, that’s not very helpful. But consider this: the negative emotions in your base state are reminding you of negative thoughts. It’s like a chain of dominoes knocking over each touching domino.

If you can release a negative emotion, you break the domino chain. Instead of bringing more negative thoughts to your mind, your mind will bring more positive thoughts.

What this means is that the less bad you feel, the more positive your thoughts will be.

All in all, if you improve the emotions in your base state, you will have less emotional burden, more energy, and more positive thoughts. Improving your base state makes you feel better threefold.

It’s time to begin feeling better. The techniques section of this website will show you how.
